 The Fairies

A story Olivia wrote in her Spanish class about her and her best friend Natalie.... who happen to be fairies.;)

Translation:

Listen to this story of me and my friend Natalie.  Together we turned into fairies.  We found a leaf outside of our house and we save the world a lot of times from the goblins.  The goblins are green creatures and gross.  The goblins want the leaf so that the girls can't turn into fairies.  The fairies can't be seen by the other children because if they do the children will turn into fairies.

My dad got bit by a toucan

 I drew a picture about my daddy getting bit by a toucan.  We were in Copan.  That is a place in Honduras. 

  We went to a bird park and we looked around a lot.  We even got to go in one of the parrot's cages.  None of them landed on us but we still thought it was cool.

And we went to a place in the bird park where there was a big log going across a river and my mom dared Ethan and my dad to climb half way up it and they did!  My mom did not think they would.

 After that we went to where a lot of the birds were.  Me, my brother, my mom, and my dad got to hold a bird on our shoulder and I got to hold it on my head!  That was super FUN!  As we were leaving, my dad tried to pet a toucan and it bit him!  After it bit him he was so happy.  He said, "I got bitten by a toucan! I have never had that happen before!"
